Hi, I’m Chris—the artist behind this studio.

Newpencilbox began as a personal project, shaped by a long-standing pull toward visual art and the way it lives in a space. I was drawn to pieces that felt soft yet expressive, full of color without overwhelming a room. When I couldn’t quite find that balance, I began creating it.

Today, I design each piece slowly and intentionally. My work is shaped by color, typography, travel, and the quiet joy of feeling at home in your surroundings.

I believe art does more than fill walls. It sets a mood, holds a feeling, and subtly changes the way a room is lived in.

Each print is produced with care using high-quality archival materials, in collaboration with trusted print partners, so the work you receive is made to last.
